Town of Bethlehem Recreation Department

Bethlehem Rec is looking for part-time adult counselors for after-school program. 

Starting pay is $15/hr 

Monday-Friday 2:15-5pm (Excluded halfdays, holidays, and vacation weeks) 

 

A counselor is responsible for supervising children and keeping them safe. Their duties include teaching children’s recreational skills, overseeing, and planning activities.

Responsibilities Included:

·         Oversee the daily operation of recreation facilities

·         Help plan and facilitate activities such as games, crafts, and hobbies

·         Enforce recreation department rules and regulations to ensure safety of the children

·         Demonstrate correct use of recreational equipment

·         Greet children and families daily

·         Report children/parent complaints, injuries, or behavior issues to recreation director

·         Works closely with recreation director
